Welcome to INAF 2025 – Are You Kidding Me?

We at ASSITEJ Norway are proud to invite you to the next edition of INAF – The International Norwegian ASSITEJ Festival, which will take place for the first time at Riksteatret in Oslo from May 6–10, 2025. After many great years in Kristiansand, the festival is moving to the capital, and we are thrilled to have Riksteatret as our new partner venue. This collaboration provides us with fantastic opportunities to take the festival to new heights.

This year's festival is titled "Are You Kidding Me?" because we are putting humor at the center. Humor is a powerful gateway to theater for young audiences, and in 2025, we will explore how it can create deep, heartfelt connections with young spectators—ranging from outbursts of laughter to quiet reflection.

The INAF 2025 program will be packed with performances, masterclasses, workshops, professional discussions, and networking opportunities for theater professionals. We are especially proud to present the Danish company Don Gnu, who will perform their double bill: Menn i Sandaler (MIS) and Kvinner i Sokker og Sandaler (KISS). In addition to their performances, Don Gnu will offer a unique masterclass based on their artistic approach, which is guaranteed to inspire.

The festival will also feature exciting contributions from Sweden, Norway, and international artists, as well as opportunities for participants to pitch their performances and concepts to international programmers—who knows, this could be the start of your next tour!
