INAF25 - Hotel and Stay
Hotel
The festival hotel and HQ will be at the Radisson Blu Nydalen.
It proudly calls itself trendy, which to be honest, sounds a bit like trying to convince the cool kids you’re cool too. But this time we can definitely say that they actually are quite cool.
It’s comfy, convenient and close to the action. They are ready to make your stay at INAF25 one you’re not gonna forget (as long as they deliver on breakfast of course).
Sadly, as we are trying to establish ourselves in Oslo, we have not been able to broker a deal with them with any special discounts. So we recommend everyone to be early in their bookings. There are also plenty of other hotels in Oslo and very easy and convenient to get to Nydalen from most places with the metro.
If the Radisson Blu is not for you there is also a few other options close by that could be worth your attention.
Thon Hotel Storo is located only a few minutes extra walking distance from the main venue of the festival.
Another option is Haraldsheim Youth Hostel which is about 10-15 minutes walk from the main festival area. They are one of the most budget friendly hotels in the city and has both the convenience of being close to the metro and the airport express bus.
As mentioned above, Nydalen is a convenient place for public transport. It is connected to the rest of the city through the metro system, so as long as your accommodation is close to a metro station there’s easy access to the festival area. For more information on
Your Stay
For those who have never been to Oslo before we are happy to say that the public transport is pretty good. In this section there are a few tips and tricks on how to make your stay in Oslo as easy and convenient as possible!
From the airport
We recommend everyone who’s traveling internationally to arrive at Oslo Airport Gardermoen. This is the closest and most convenient airport to Oslo.
If you’re staying in Nydalen we recommend using the Airport Express Bus. The bus leaves every 30 minutes or so, and goes directly to Nydalen close to the Radisson Blu Hotel, Thon Hotel Storo and Haraldsheim Youth Hostel.
If you will be staying in accommodations in the city centre we recommend the airport express train that leaves approximately every 10 minutes or so.
In the city
All of Oslo is connected by public transport managed by Ruter.
By downloading the Ruter App you will have access to a travel planner and ticket in one place. It is easy and convenient to use, but not every country is supported in registering an account. If you’re not eligible to set up an account tickets can be bought kiosks such as Narvesen.
In the app you can very easily type in Nydalen and it’ll tell you the quickest route there. Everything will be within zone 1 so you don’t have to worry about getting tickets beyond it unless you want to go out of Oslo.
