K.I.S.S. (Women in Socks and Sandals) is described as an exuberant journey into the identity of the modern woman!
In K.I.S.S., the successful performance M.I.S. (Men in sandals) - All Night Long is challenged by a female ensemble. With director Kamilla Wargo in collaboration with Don Gnu has set out to explore what it means to be a woman today. Away with stereotypical perceptions and prejudices - here we know that the modern woman is complex, nuanced and full of surprises.
Inspired by the feminine ideals of the past and today's empowerment movement, K.I.S.S. delves into the inner strength, vulnerability and will that characterize the modern woman. Raised in a world with strong role moders, popular culture and 90s "girl power" - under the layers of expectations, social norms and female life roles, who is the woman really?
This show is filled with twisted stunts, both physical and mental, as the three women step out of their comfort zones to take on everything from the "superwoman" syndrome and the idea of the perfect mother, to the inner critic and societal pressure.
K.I.S.S. is described as a party for anyone who wants to celebrate the human right to be themselves - real, unadulterated and powerful in their imperfections - all night long!

DON GNU creates action theater and dance combined in a playful and poetic universe.
The company was established in 2010 by choreographers Jannik Elkær and Kristoffer Louis Andrup, who jointly serve as the artistic directors. Today, DON GNU is one of the country's most touring companies, which, in addition to extensive touring activity at home, has also toured with performances in large parts of the world, including all the Nordic countries, South Korea, Canada, much of Europe, and Cuba.
The name DON GNU is built around the paradox of being one and many at the same time. "Don" as an individual and "Gnu" as a herd animal describe the relationship and dynamic in the collaboration between the individual and the group. That we are responsible as individuals, but only understand and live in relation to others.
